John Mc Cambridge was born and raised in Cambridge,
Massachusetts where he attended MIT (day camp), for four
consecutive years. He currently lives and works in San Francisco,
California where he creates vibrant gouache paintings on wood of close
interval swell. John’s chaotic local beach break provides him with
plenty of inspiration and source material. John is also the creator of the
Mollusk Surf Shop, which has brought together a healthy community
of craftsmen and artists alike.
